The donation is directed toward community programs and organizations that provide direct aid to vulnerable families and individuals. Building on that commitment, Honda will also match individual employee donations to local programs and food banks up to $1,000.
Furthermore, Honda donated its North American supply of Personal Protective Equipment to aid healthcare workers who are risking their lives every day to save people affected by COVID-19. Honda is also encouraging its employees all across the country to volunteer while respecting social distancing guidelines, helping aid understaffed nonprofits and organizations serving crucial functions in a time of need.
Honda is extending relief to current customers financing through Honda Financial Services with payment extensions, payment deferrals, and waived late fees for those who qualify. Qualifying customers interested in purchasing a new Honda and financing through Honda Financial Services can also take advantage of deferred payments.
